Websites may be valid or active by the time it was registered for the first time, but changes occur in the world wide web from time to time. Either the domain name has expired or the website owner abandoned the name, or changed to a new website address. This changes resulting to an error message 404 may frustrate some users of KABEETmaps.COM when the click on the website address found in our directory. This is no longer an issue now because we have already used screenshot preview of all websites listed in our directory.
In the search result, the website preview will be available when the user places the mouse cursor above the website symbol. Place your mouse above this symbol to see how it works:
While in the details page, the website screenshot will already be automatically displayed instantly upon page loading. Newly registered website may be shown as "queue" for the preview to be available. This process only takes about five (5) minutes so the site should have it's preview available next time somebody browses through it.

WHY BUILD YOUR OWN MAP WHEN YOU CAN GET ONE FROM KABEETmaps.COM, FREE!

Yes!!! You read it right. you can literally KABEET (attach) our interactive map in your own website starting December 28, 2007 absolutely FREE. Hence, the website name KABEETmaps.COM. It took the site long enough to publicly implement this feature which is actually the rationale of the name, nevertheless, it's already here!

Now that this feature is already active, anybody, even non-members can simply copy the codes right below the interactive map of every particular KABEETmap search result. Users are reminded though to ensure that they have hit (clicked) the button at the search result before copying the codes. This will ensure that the map you will KABEET (attach) will point exactly to your desired location.

So, what are you waiting for? Search for your favorite map and KABEET it in your website now, or better yet, register your own account and ask us to assign a map for you.

KABEETmap just got even SMARTER with version 3!

KABEETmaps.COM's recently released version 3 (see nr. 1 in image) just got even more smarter and makes it much easier for users to browse and search the map! This version makes the user themselves capable of saving the settings of every particular KABEETmap account (nr.2). This means that the exact position, including the zoom level of the map will be stored using the SAVE Button (nr. 3) and will remain in the last saved position, not unless of course if it is saved by another person to a newer perspective.

Even the marker position can be moved to a different position (nr. 4) and still be stored. And to guide the users further, the map has a status bar (nr. 5) at the lower left portion of the map to indicate what actions are being undertaken by the map, or what should the user do to proceed.

While browsing, or while the map is still loading, users are advised to check if the map being loaded are marked VERSION 3. As of this announcement, version 3 for parts of Makati City KABEETmaps are already released. It is most likely therefore that not all maps are positioned exactly at the desired location (it can be verified at the status bar which says: 'Coordinates not yet saved, click button to update'). KABEETmaps.COM leaves it to its users to position the map accordingly and make the use of KABEETmap more interactive and closer to accuracy because every patron of the site will be the guardian of their respective favorite maps.

So, if you are from Makati area, try searching for your building, street or barangay and save its coordinates accordingly. And watch out too for the version where you can already attach a particular map in your own KABEETmaps Connection and even your own website!
